This #WorldHealthDay we had a great time learning about the importance of using reusable bottles, what makes up healthy and unhealthy food and how we can make a well balanced plate of food! It was a truly interactive session that started with a great talk from the young and passionate Ms Maha about the dangers of plastic bottles and was followed by Ms Ghada's explanation of healthy and unhealthy foods. It was when each child was called out in the front to practice making a healthy balanced plate of food that the kids really enjoyed themselves and learned that they need proteins, dairy, vegetables, fruit and grains in their diet. We thank Mrs Ghada Al Mardoud and her team from Mushrif Children's Specialty Center for a fun and educational session and teaching the children that participated valuable lessons about food and overall health. This session was a part of our Baba Zayed workhops organized by Nahtam Social Responsibility نهتم للمسؤولية الاجتماعية in collaboration with Orange Wheels!
